Our background

About EOR Bulgaria and
the hires we employ for you

A company that needs one person in Bulgaria rarely wants an EOOD, an accountant and an NRA employer file as well. We carry that load, so your hire can begin once the contract is signed and on the register.

Our purpose

A shorter path

Foreign firms tend to arrive in Bulgaria for one or two people: a developer in Sofia, a support lead in Plovdiv, an account manager working from home in Varna. An EOOD for that means a bank account, double-entry books, an occupational health service and pay rules before any payslip.

We offer a lighter route. The person signs with us and joins our euro payroll; salary and contributions reach you at cost, with a fee on top that starts from €599 per employee per month.

Compared with a broad multi-country provider

How do the two compare?

Broad providers
EOR Bulgaria
✕Run dozens of countries from one template and add Bulgarian detail afterwards
✓Covers Bulgaria alone, so klas, the contribution ceiling and NRA dates come first
✕Show a monthly fee and leave the employer contributions for you to work out
✓Price the year in euro: gross pay, 18.92% contributions up to the ceiling, and our fee
✕Send questions to a ticket queue answered by whoever is free
✓Keep one small payroll team on your account, so whoever replies already knows your employees

Working style

Our six commitments

Six commitments guide every Bulgarian employment we hold, and you can check our work against each one.

The contract sits with us

Your hire’s contract is signed with us, so the Labour Code duties of a Bulgarian employer rest with us.

One contact for you

One account manager deals with your quotes, new starters and invoices, and knows which of your people works where.

Direct answers

Questions reach payroll staff who prepare Bulgarian payslips every month and can explain why net pay dipped in August 2026.

Every step on record

Written contract, NRA register entry and monthly declarations are completed for each hire; nothing is skipped for speed.

Headcount that flexes

A second hire is one more contract on our payroll. A leaver serves the agreed notice, 30 days by default, and no company is left to close.

Open pricing

Our fee is set per person and shown apart from pay and contributions, with a 12-month estimate before any offer.

Your support

Which people help your team?

Four roles share the work for each Bulgarian employee, all reading from the same contract and payroll records.

Account manager

Prices each hire, answers questions on invoices and keeps track of who starts when.

Payroll and NRA filings

Monthly euro payroll, with income tax and contributions reaching the National Revenue Agency by day 25; sick-pay claims from day 3 go to the NSSI.

Everyday HR

Leave balances, sick notes, remote-work terms and contract changes, handled under the Labour Code.

Contracts and NRA entries

A written contract with the content Article 66 lists, notified to the NRA register of employment contracts within 3 days, and copies handed over before the first day.

Each month’s run is checked by people who already know your team.

Coverage

Which Bulgarian towns are covered?

Employees may live in any Bulgarian town or work from home, and pay rules and contribution rates do not vary by region. Work done from another country is different: we review each cross-border arrangement first, as EU coordination rules decide where contributions fall due.

Nationwide

Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas and Ruse, plus smaller towns and home offices across Bulgaria
